These were new to me when we moved to Colorado and they popped up in spring of 1972. We had moved in February and the next day a huge snowstorm came—quite different than Texas weather.

1. What was the most memorable gift you gave someone? A locket to my granddaughter at sixteen that I had received at 16.

2. What was the most memorable gift you received? A replacement diamond on my engagement ring on my 40th birthday. I had lost in in the disposal.

3. For the girls:
Would you be suspicious if your partner gave you flowers or chocolates for no reason? No

3. For the guys:
Do you surprise your partner with something for no reason at all?

4. Have you accepted a gift with pleasure, even if you hated it? I never hated a gift but appliances never thrilled me😂

Gratitude: This week always, family, but especially for my daughter. I was feeling slightly depressed and she and I spent a day together and we laughed till I had a stomach ache. Such fun!❤️

MLMM Wordle

Familiar as I am with a song of these words
I find the sugary concept a bit absurd
We can join everybody that sees the bright
Rainbows, lollipops and sunshine light
The lucky penny you pick up and keep near
Hoping cloudy silver linings don’t disappear
I see how this attitude would keep brighter days
And if we act together we could extend these ways.

T for Typhon, largest, angriest, and most powerful mythical creature from Ancient Greece, also known as Typhoeus, is the child of Gaia and Tartarus. He is known as the father of all monsters. A gargantuan even the Greek gods feared—a giant beast with a serpent’s body that hissed as it moved and large wings that whipped up a ferocious storm wherever Typhon went. Hence the word typhoon, but could also use fire to destroy anything in his path.

Depending on descriptions, he had a human-like torso and, in some instances, up to a hundred fire-breathing dragon heads. Typhon was so mighty that Zeus needed 100 bolts of lightning to best the creature before locking it beneath Mount Etna. Typhon was the most fearsome and threatening creature the gods of Olympus ever faced off against.

Six Sentence Story

I’d had enough with beauty shops. It seems they start and never stop! I went in for just a trim and then, it seemed I’d entered a tattoo den. Every consultant pierced and tatted, not that the look ever seemed to matter. It’s just after I sat down they started working my hair crown. Cut, and curler fried consequences, my graying scalp red dyed, scared to look in the mirror, I averted my eyes. Suddenly done and done they gleefully chimed, and I sheepishly looked and couldn’t deny, I looked gorgeous!

The Sunday Whirl – Hot time in…

Dancing in a line of seven, name me the odd man out
Rising temperatures from bodies eeking their way down
No matter the gender, perspiration rules
A risk as it’s building, running downward as it pools
Take it for granted it’s an ever willing distress
And certain to be learned, destruction of my dress.

S prompts today🥸

Slight syncopation seen with such similar substantiated successions. Single sentences sanctify such sabbaticals stating specifically selected “S”s, as sublime, not surly.
