Fandango’s Flashback Friday

MLMM Photo Challenge

Casting me out to be eaten by rats
Pawed over by feralous cats
I was beautiful in my day
No one could pass or walk away
Without first stopping to stare
At the beauty of what I might wear
I understood my time would be brief
But a trash bag container, good grief!

My favorite wild animal is the wolf. I have a “wolf” blanket, photos and paintings and books and movies about how they live their lives and admire them. We could learn from them if we didn’t fear and act like they weren’t here before us.

The Tiger Triumphed

“Hey Ho party people! Joe, I’m grateful you put that heater on the deck! This weather is crazy, man—snow and ice in California? Who knew? On the way over here I had to navigate my bike around a bunch of potholes, some as big as craters! But my Triumph Tiger careened around those cavities with ease. I’m sure glad I invested in that bike!”

Your Daily News Bulletin March 1, 2023

From the desk of Timothy Wishful Fiction reporting:

Ron DeSantis, Governor of Florida, announces breaking news… the governor has decided that after attending church on Sunday, that he has been duped by the ramblings of some religious zealots, the KKK, and other known dissidents, and is now backtracking on the blatant prejudiced and bigoted rules he has posed on educational institutions in the state of Florida. He offers a heartfelt apology to anyone he degraded by his speeches and/or actions. MAGA groups, et al, declined to comment.
