He stood, looking professorial, crossed his arms and told her, “the world is always changing, Phyllis.”

“I suppose that’s true,” she answered, “but we all have a dark side,” and she decided to confront him about it. “You can’t fool me Harold, I know you’ve been seeing Marie on the side.”

Harold started walking toward the reptile cage, ignoring her accusation. “Most people would consider these creatures ominous, but I can’t help but adore them.”

Phyllis was not getting anywhere near the cage. She knew that Harold had been working with reptiles on a secret serum but as his part time assistant, she wasn’t quite sure what the serum was intended for.

Harold slid the top off the reptile cage and took out one of his favorites. Phyllis started backing away. “Harold, you know I don’t like it when you take them out of the cage. Please put it back.”

Harold was caressing the large creature, and started walking towards Phyllis. Phyllis was backed up against a cabinet with no place to go. When the authorities found her, thought it was unusual that she had died on her feet, seemingly frozen to a cabinet in the lab.

Unfortunately, Harold disappeared, along with his reptile collection.

Anyone else receiving more than usual in their email than they are regular emails from people you know? Today and yesterday I received 60 ads. And they keep repeating no matter how many times I have said that they are spam and they are put in the trash. Is anyone else having that problem?

He said to the waitress, “Come on over, honey and I’ll give you a tip.” Standing too close, he bent near her ear.

Jeannie said, “Benny what is it you want to say?”

“Well sweetheart how about spending some time? A little this, a little that… and see where it leads?” Jeannie laughed too loud and the entire restaurant heard it, embarrassing Benny once, and for all.

It’s winter windy here in Cheyenne, but the sun is shining bright. The word bulk comes to mind as I read my exit report from the rehab and they had me down as 35 pounds heavier than I knew I was. The food was so horrible. I didn’t even eat it so what is up with that?🙄 Talk about making somebody going home feeling better😵‍💫. Yesterday I went to my regular doctor and insisted that they weigh me and I was down from my regular weight about 10 pounds so take that rehab.

I told my daughter if I get sick again or need rehab I’m definitely not going to that place. I’m wishing all of you a safe and healthy rest of the season. Please be careful if you have ice you have to walk on – believe me you do not want to get a broken limb.

This is a picture of my daughter and her husband back in 1993. They celebrated their 32nd anniversary this week!

Fandango’s Flashback Friday

Share Your World 2/27/2017

Hello Wednesday-two hours from now. Cold this evening, but sunny today. Wind never stops. But hey, WP working great! Thanks to the powers that be……

Ceenphotography.wordpress.com has some new questions for us this week:

1.  Have you ever run out of gas? No.  My husband did when I was with him.  I had to keep from smiling because I knew it was going to happen.  He assured me we had at least three gallons when the gauge showed “empty”.  I guess not😂

2.  Black or green olives? Definitely green, love them.🍸

3.  If you were a great explorer, where would you go? I would love to see New Zealand and Australia.

4.  Share some of your favorite quotes.

“It ain’t over till the fat lady sings” Dan Cook”

“You’re killin’ me, Smalls” The Sandlot

“It’s like deja vu all over again”. Yogi Berra

“Vern”. Stand By Me

“There’s 106 miles to Chicago, we’ve got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, its dark out, and we’re wearing sunglasses”. Elwood Blues

“Go ahead, make my day”.  Clint Eastwood

I am grateful for my grandson’s fourteenth birthday this past weekend.  A great kid adopted from Korea as an infant, born without arms and he can do anything.  There’s a video of him playing his first basketball game where he scored a three pointer.  I put it on an early blog Prompt post, named Determination.

Looking forward to the weekend and following week because it’s payday!  Yea!

😄🎉🎊👍🏻
