Writing a poem of this caliber
Probably my attempt you’ll remember
As discord is rampant these days
Turn on your device.
I try to follow rules
Never went to a poetry school
in fact, I usually delight in mischief
a curious character clueless on form
never aiming to be the norm
but when I do, sometimes
a miracle happens, it rhymes!
like Peter packing his pickled peppers
not counting those green wonders.
