The duke passed into the kitchen, hoping the princess would be there alone of course and found her, sitting at the table, munching a biscuit. He was delighted to see her acting happy after the slight downhill turn from her constituency. One of them showed up at the last gathering wearing a sheet curved around him instead of clothing. The sheet words stated he could not afford clothes so had to dress in his bedsheets! It was comical but made a point about taxes.
