At a full point, the Shepard was trained to sit and place his paws in an oddly human cross, and the crowd felt a sense of pride. The military families, eyed the sharply dressed men and women of MWD, Military Working Dog division of handlers. Instead of petting the serious dogs, they were enjoying lingering around to watch some of the training movements they learned.

I prefer a dog sized dog rather than a ‘rat on a stick’, though some of the yapper breeds can be quite sweet. It’s always the little ones that bark at Maya and she ignores them. We have a shih tzu next door which barks every time it’s let out which is very annoying. Maya usually doesn’t bother with it, but one day charged up to the fence and let out a single deep Gruff!! We heard a satisfying squeak from the other side.
