I have a needed tendency, proclivity

To try different forms of creativity

I’ve always been an eager and curious sort

But now I’m very sorry to report

I’ve tried different forms to improve my ability

But try as I might my absorbability

Must be too limited, I fear

You quite often see it here

My aspirations are great

I feel hopeful at the gate

But then talent abates

As I sit here and wait

For inspirational traits

To take over, conflate

My brain won’t equate

My ego deflates
