My heart started to swell as I saw the sticky strips of rusty chain sway as the steam engine removed grime and shiny gear emerged. It was almost dizzying to watch the rust and grime sweep away onto the ground. Every hook and link looked like new. “You look like you’re in shock, Joe! I knew it could be restored but it was hard to convince the committee.”
