Christmas tree lights dimmed as the nurse opened the blinds. Sue preferred them closed. Sue was too tired, too discouraged by the latest diagnosis, to care about the life going on outside. Life plans were not a success. She turned away from the window, when she heard singing. No carols, please, she moaned. The tree lights suddenly brightened and the singing increased. Sue was about to ring for the nurse when she saw a specter, in angel disguise. Magically lifted to look back at her body in the bed, Sue fainted. The mystery of afterlife was about to be revealed.

The secret of the afterlife, either it is a brilliant place or not. Either way no one dares to come back.
A gentle story of passing.

A bleak though promising ending. I’m glad it was an angel who lifted her.

He’s doing OK really, but getting fed up with being messed about. We have a new tilt now in that our email correspondence doesn’t work since he’s been moved to a different ward.

When I was in the hospital, no internet at all.

We invested in a small tablet for him after his last stay in hospital (August) as the phones didn’t work and we had little contact which made things worse. It was also another hospital and further away. At least this time we could email each other……….. or we could until they moved him.

Yes glad of that tablet but here nothing worked and I keep in contact every day. They all did visit though. I hope he gets “connected” soon. It’s so boring otherwise
