Everyone said my husband, a teacher, had a short fuse. I realized that soon enough. We were traveling as chaperones with a group of six year olds to a dinosaur museum. Two industrious children decided to scale the Tyrannosaurus’ tale, causing the entire exhibit to fall. A sprained arm and a few scrapes were attended by the museum’s staff. On our return trip to the school, my husband couldn’t hold his temper any longer – the fuse had been lit.
