Here are this week’s questions:
It’s the second May Bank Holiday here in the UK and the kids are on half term break. In your country, do schools have a ‘Half Term’ break? We have a spring break, one week of no school.
Education methods have changed a lot since I left school in 1972.
Would you like to be learning in a classroom of today?Probably not. I think it would be too distracting.
Did you leave school as soon as you could, or did you go on to study for a degree or other higher education?I left school after graduating 12th grade to pursue a job for the government, civil service.
When you entered the working world, did your job require ‘qualifications’ or did you learn on the job? For this job I had to take a civil service exam.
Gratitude: I spent last week in the hospital because a sickness made me too weak to do anything at home. I was given transfusions, etc and finally went home on Friday, a few days ago. My medicines changed and my kidneys ended up okay, but it was scary for a while. My gratitude is for my daughter taking me to hospital and being by my side. How many times can you think and say you are okay with a DNR. I don’t have that and it’s difficult to put down in writing a living will. I was asked a few times by nurses, and it makes you think you’re worse than you are.😵💫
