If eating dinner we’d hurry and dash

Sit down by the tv and watch “Mash”!

The colonel a favorite, I’m sure you’ll agree

But Hawkeye and BJ loved capriciously

Then there was Frank, an exasperating soul

Even Winchester could not fill that role

Houlihan, oh of course can’t forget

She flirted with most that she met

Secretly meeting Frank, I ask why?

Surely a different man she’d eye

But Radar O’Reilly and Father Mulcahy

Took my heart each episode daily.

I think if you’re looking for humor and pathos

You should try “Mash” for some meaningful chaos.

  2. Mash was one that we did get in Britain and it is both masterful and funny and introduced some great actors to the screen…

  4. I loved that show, but at the time I watched it I was too young to understand a lot of what was going on. I loved Hawkeye’s humor and my favorite character was probably Radar, the unsung hero of the show.
