Over the course of a few warm days, the fan she used would distribute the toxic herb odors, and her vulnerable body would succumb to their effects. He removed the bouquet of plants that led to her demise, knowing the coroner would check her condition. Then he opened windows to let in fresh air before calling 911, and hoped his battle was over.
