I use it for notes, a timer and alarm, but there are times the phone loses its charm. I guess it’s not the phone’s fault if weirdos assault, or scammers find your number and call, and you try to block them all, most times that works and you’ve blocked those jerks.
Holidays are almost here and at this time of year, the scammers and phishers are out in force, for elders, robbing them—the worst offenders, old people looking for a friend, sadly fall for schemers and end, giving their retirement away, all for conversation on a lonely day. It’s a pet peeve as I’ve seen it occur, so take care of your elders, and be aware if you concur.

My mom almost got scammed the other day! A person texted her, saying, mom this is my new number, call me, she thought t was me! told her it was a scam and to delete it and never call a unknown number!

Exactly! We have to be vigilant. An older woman here has been texting on dating sites and now can’t get rid of them. She doesn’t realize that texting means they have your phone! Her daughter put her phone on some type of child lock but it’s still going on.🤨
