Getaway to Stowe in the Summer
***
Missing my Vermont home, especially in autumn. September brings such colors graduating from summer greens. Eventually all bright colors will emerge.
verdant hues fading
autumn is now moving in
subtle morning sun reveals
blue mountain vista with peach
stones softened in the day’s light

I took my son to Vermont last September to witness his first Autumn trees. It was absolutely stunning. You capture that perfectly in your poem, Cheryl!

How true your words and it’s good you make sure to rest. Teachers do make such a difference and spiders? No thanks I have a great fear of them😳. Glad you loved the trees, wonderful
