He started the day with “honey…”

Knew what was next… “bunny”

Speaking this way

He starts every day

And I really don’t think it’s funny.

A man I once knew a few years ago

Remarked he thought I was slow

“I thought you loved me, liked it that way”

Next thing I knew he was walking away

I guess if you think hard enough you realize

Men don’t know women and we don’t know guys!

–

Amusement comes in many forms

Usually attacking established norms

Everyday days seem endless at times

That’s when I like to make funny rhymes.

“Funny?” he queried, “what makes you think so?”

“Oh well” I replied, “at least I’m no longer slow!”

  6. I’ve often thought a man’s humor is a bit different than a woman’s–like I can never understand why they use really cutting insults to show their affection for each other. Luckily, there is enough overlap to keep us from drifting too far apart…(K)
