Life rotates, just like a circle
You’re young, you’re old, you change
You’re the boss or you’re the mother
Later become something other
Your children now take care of you
As long as family stays true
Some wander away from loving ties
Others tend to always rely
On the bond formed early on
Keep the faith, do not move on
All this learned in early life
Stay the course, and then
With cords that bind but also bend
The circle of love never ends.

I feel this piece. My Beloved Sandra’s oldest daughter and her husband Chris have been “just dropping in” more and more frequently lately and noting that “that hedge could use a trim” or “time to clean those rain gutters, eh?”
