I used to plop the kids in front of the tv so i could do things like cook.. id multitask.
Was out the other day sad a Dad with their daughter at McDonalds… he was on phone scrolling.. she just sat eating might as well be alone. SO very sad.

We watched a lot of TV while growing up, but I remember playing outside a lot (and being told to go play outside a lot of times).

I incorporated our furniture into projects. Mom objected to my running string through drawer handles and using tables as cranes.
