  • Thematic (required): Travel;
    • Where would you like to go? What your favorite place you’ve been? Or, put into poetry some experience you’ve had while traveling!
  • Form (required): Cethramtu rannaigechta moire;
    • At least three stanzas.

Cethramtu rannaigechta moire?

  1. Syllabic:
    • Each verse has four lines;
    • Each line has three syllables;
  2. Rhyming: The 2nd and 4th lines of each stanza rhyme;
  3. Any number of verses.

  1. This embodies the distinctive method of travel that being in the army requires. Not what I would choose! I like how the rhythm of the form is like a recruiting slogan. (K)

  2. To be honest, this is so perfect for this form! I started looking at Celtic poetry forms because of my desire to travel to Scotland. 

    How do you think the Black Watch recruited young Scottish men in the 1800s? With promises of travel, of course. So you nailed it.
