After a sleepless night this won’t be “tight”

First it was awkward and brief

Just one more my dear, please

Slightly slumped, casual presence

I may need a supplement of the calming kind

Time travel to the past or a future that may not last

Some changes you have no choice

Think fortunate thoughts

Peaceful beasts

It’s in my nature

Hard as stone, never relenting.

  1. For me, this part “I may need a supplement of the calming kind
Time travel to the past or a future that may not last” can so easily translate to daydreaming, as a respite. I enjoyed it!
