Was it jealousy that fueled their ire
Or lack of ambition, eager to retire?
A soldier’s lot is not easy,
a hard choice for life’s path
Simple fear of confrontation causing enemies’ likely wrath?
This comical depiction of a soldier bold perhaps not the real story ever told
for tales of bravery and strength
May go on too long in length
