Time travel to the past
Or a future that may not last
I’m not sure of what I’d choose
Present is what I don’t want to lose
To visit someone I have lost
What would be my heart’s cost
No need to fiddle, cause a jam
I think I’ll stay right where I am
Memories for me are sufficient
Challenging time is too significant
The dials are wonky at the least
Time might be a scary beast
The past is gone, forever so
The future is where I hope to go.
