I love the Pointer Sisters and although I admire their Disco phase and what you describe as Electro-Pop, I really like their early work coming out of the New York Baths along with Bette Midler, Manhattan Transfer, La Belle etc. Their close harmony singing on songs like Steam Heat was funny, innovative as well as socially relevant – just saying…
