Tanka Tuesday: I’ve asked my friend, and photographer, Terri Webster Schrandt, from secondwindleisure.com.

seeds of future buds revealed
symbol of a birth
silently nature waits on
time to complete the cycle

My grands are a tad younger. One is in Middle School. the other in Grade School. Good luck in that Algebra class! 😀

Oh… we have 10 year olds… such a fun age. Our gal is into sports. The older one though isn’t into much – Well he does like to think… I’m just hoping he puts in a little more effort this year… but it he is old enough to make his own choices and there isn’t much I can say.

I don’t think there ever is. Most every parent wants the right words, do the right thing and for the most part I think we do. My 17 year old granddaughter is into soccer mostly and being recruited by college coaches. It’s great in ways of course but I hope she chooses a close one. I miss her already. Enjoy it all while you can🤗👍🏻✌🏻

Our grands are at the point where we are often seen for holidays and birthdays. We try to do more, but now having their ‘clubs’ and their own friends it isn’t easy. I’ve thought about sending them postcards. 😀
Calling would be good but I don’t always know when they are practicing a sport, doing homework or haning out with their friends. I had them while they were little for many years. It is something to see them blossom 😀

I did the same and yes it’s hard to find their free time!

I remember though what I was like too…
When the grands came to visit, I just wanted to hid away… But then most often the adult conversations got a bit loud. I can only hope they were having fun.
