Time Passes Quickly
Twelve months doesn’t sound like much, does it? Birthdays, anniversaries, vacations, holidays and appointments make it seem shorter than the 365 days it encompasses. January, freezing in a blizzard, you think this is the longest month. I wish it was over! Suddenly it is.

Cheryl sorry for the delay in commenting, just found your poem. I really enjoyed your time-bending here. I feel that time really bent when it came to my kids when they were little. It felt like they would be children forever but in retrospect it was just a brief bit of time 😦 I wish I would have appreciated the time then more.

I realized it was not in poem form after posting. My mind has not been on the spot lately.

Suddenly is the right word. Time just vanishes in a blink.
