We were born six years apart

Became friends right at the start

This older wiser friend of mine

Always thought of me as “thine”

Years pass by with disconnect

Back together with latest tech

Both now older and wiser still

Hold to each other, a lifetime skill.

  6. I am the oldest of three girls … your poem reminds me in the most glorious of ways how special the bond is. We are living in three States, technology is the best.
