A bomb threat last month. A car accident killing one boy and hospitalizing three others yesterday. This was the day after the SWAT team, Guard and police entered our high school because someone called in an active shooter alert. Teachers and kids were hiding in closets behind locked classroom doors while heavily armed law enforcement ran through the school. Luckily my granddaughter is homeschooled for most core classes, so not in the school at the time. This is becoming so often a happening that the public is apathetic and seems to just throw up their hands in defeat. It’s been a tearful couple of days.

Sad!!!
The other day, two people were shot dead across the street from our granddaughters’ school. It is a hate-filled world; but at least, we can always depend on thoughts and prayers from the GOP

I can’t imagine being a kid in school these days. The stress has to be terrible not knowing if you are safe and what the day will be like.
