“The seed of a poem lay dormant in my heart.”
~ from “Winged Words”, Valsa George

My sedentary life upon me, the hustle and busyness of years is gone by. Now I have time to reflect on what happened, how and why. It is strange how things so hurried then can now be played out slowly in perfect focus as time permits. And then, in this expanse of hours, the seed of a poem lay dormant in my heart. It wants to be recognized, visible and expressed.

  1. I can relate to this. When it all stops, suddenly we can look back at the blur with a different perspective, or maybe the first time even having one.
