Ten years I’ve mourned you and now, maybe it needs to change? I will try to keep a promise made to only think of the fun times and the laughs we had as young lovers. Listening to albums on a small record player in a room with no furniture, we happily stretched out on the wood floor and let the music overtake us. Good times. Remembering when you carried me over your shoulder walking up an outside flight of stairs and then turning and bonking my head on the door jamb. Such good times, lots of laughter. “This year’s a different thing, – I’ll not think of you.”
