Following her scripted lines, “I just can’t decide,” Sharon spoke to her fellow actor, Pete, and then strangely, started to cackle, facing the crowd. Pete’s mind boggled as he heard her strange utterance. Then her solitary scream shattered the room and several others that had gathered at the side of the stage stared. They stood in horror as Susan started clawing at her face with blood spewing from her mouth, but her devilish laugh continued. It was only the quiet woman on the opposite stage exit that was secretly smiling. Her time as Susan’s understudy was over today.
