Even in twilight, it looked scary. Snowfall had not softened the appearance of this ominous looking house. They stood on the other side of the creek, ready for action. The “gang” of four ten year old boys armed with two cartons of eggs, rolls of toilet paper and shaving cream, decided the unfriendly owners of this abode were going to pay. In the past three years they stood outside the door, dressed in great costumes on Halloween night. Every year they were ignored. Tonight, November 1,1955, they were seeking revenge.
Wretched kids!

Kids will do things in groups that they would never do alone.

Fun story. If they pull this off, in a year or two no house in the neighborhood will be safe. Be generous on Halloween or else! 🙂

It was a few miles between neighbors in those days so probably no one knew who the culprits were- especially my
Mom😬

We had one neighbor this reminds me off but the worst we did was tie her clothesline laundry in knots😀

From the title, I’m assuming the woman who lives there is in dire straits already. And it’s about to get worse!

Oops. I confused the blogsite title for the post title. Makes more sense now 🙂

Is that a true story (specific date in the past)? I know there are young uns who can be counted upon to get revenge like that.
