The fun happy atmosphere began to diminish as Gloria who definitely had too much liquid cheer, announced in a loud voice, “it’s going to stain!” Her loud exclamation made a fractious impact on the rest of the party goers. “It’s going to ruin this dress, “ teetering a bit sideways.
The repeat of her declaration was not necessary as the entire group could hear her raucous voice. The gentleman she had accidentally bumped into offered a token of apology, “I can recommend a good dry cleaner.” The crowd was relieved but Gloria stomped off to the restroom.
