Joe needed that jumpsuit. He also needed the high-soled boots in order to tower over his opponents. Various suitors had tried to win over his girlfriend’s heart, but this time he was going to be prepared. He was a bit concerned about the barrier of fog that covered the old dirt road that led to the party but he drove on. At least he was visible to others since he decided to have his ancient Buick coupe repainted to resemble an F/A 18 fighter jet. When he arrived at the party, his girlfriend was surprised to see Joe emerge from his “jet”dressed in a Tom-Cruise-Maverick jumpsuit. Joe strode inside making quite an impression on everyone. He couldn’t help thinking he’d nailed it.
