Strange Story
a gathering of women
none were witches, they assured
trying to reach her loved one
an innocent was lured
a seance, she inquired, I don’t believe in them
but as she sat around the table
something started tugging on her hem
candles flickered on and off, medium weaved—a moaning sound
and then she heard familiar barks of her favorite bloodhound.
