Frontier Days Parade

I’m easily bored
Seeing no variation of cars by the hoard
I like the bands and the efforts of those
In hot wool uniforms carrying heavy loads
Today of course it started to rain
But they kept marching, no complaints
I would suggest horses be kept to the last
Marchers can’t sidestep an odorous mass
But on they go not to be outdone
Trudging through animal dung.

****don’t get me wrong I love seeing all the beautiful horses but can’t they come in last??🙄
