A2Z Raucous

Easter Sunday’s family gathering included a delicious dinner as always, made by my daughter. We were thankful to join together after missing the last couple of years. The raucous part was playing a game named “Taco, Cat, Goat, Cheese, Pizza”. It is similar to Spoons where you throw out a card and then everyone tries not to be the last one slamming your hand on the card. The funniest part was when a narwhal card landed. And it certainly got loud and dangerous😂.

“Each player places a card from their hand (like snap and dobble) face up in a community pile while saying taco/cat/goat/cheese/pizza in player sequence – when the card matches the mantra – boom – everyone slaps their hand on the deck – the last one picks up the cards – the winner is the player to lose all their cards first. For extra fun, there are special action cards – the gorilla, narwhal, and groundhog, which players have to make gestures before racing to slap the deck!”
