MLMM Wordle #268

Pulling up part of his sleeves and applying a garter to hug the cloth from slipping down, Jack thought he was ready. The axe was sharpened, the lounge clear of unnecessary furniture and any splinter of autumn was removed. He wanted the hedonistic adventure of being the first of his family to cut down and set up a real Christmas tree for his new home. The fake foil and plastic trees in bright Crayola colors were in the past; plus, this was the first home he, his wife and children actually owned.

Jack was looking forward to adding cohesion to his family by starting a new tradition. As his family stepped outside their cabin, the flight of a single snow flurry felt like a blessing on his endeavor.
