dVerse Poets- Poetics

Macintosh, you are my love

Truly the gift I’m thinking of

Childhood saw us in the orchard

Living without, I feel tortured

Autumn air flows with their scent

My adoration honestly meant

The look, the smell, the tart sweet taste

I try not to savor it in haste

When biting into this treat

Old memories come complete

Alas they are not seen here

Only the East holds them dear.
