Astrology was only one of the subjects forbidden by the elders in the family. The older generation’s airless attitudes had obliterated any remnants of the once beautiful stone carvings in the sculpture garden. The statues were destroyed after more than one unusual harmful incident occurred there. After these events, the older adults had a massive fear of anything to do with astrology or mythology. Mere mentions of anything related to pictures in the stars, constellations, tarot or horoscopes, would render a warning frown with no hesitation, intended to burst the children’s bubbles of curiosity. This would perplex the children whose school and library would indulge them to research the subject. However, the parents and grandparents’ thought their ideas were protecting the younger family members. The only history of the strange happenings was kept secret from them.
