Thanksgiving eve was the day he read the ransom note. It had been two days since the perpetrator decided to send his demands to force the small business to complete his plan. The four turkey feathers were a warning. The butcher was ordered to pay one hundred dollars for each turkey and the turkeynapper would release the fowl back into the butcher’s possession. The shop owner was on the edge of distress when law enforcement decided to step in. The full grown turkeys were returned unharmed just in time for butchering.
