Word of the Day: Mind

“Anyone who isn’t confused really doesn’t understand the situation.” Edward R. Murrow

I am borrowing this quote from Paul’s post: https://pvcann.com/2021/02/14/mystery-is-the-deepest-emotion-a-poem-by-paul-vincent-cannon/#like-14158

this morning because as usual, I am dazed and confused, and not alright, alright, alright. To my patriotic mind, I mistakenly thought truth would will out. Once again I was wrong and sorely disappointed. I’m sure you are weary of reading my political posts but I had to say one more time how disgusted I am with our convoluted justice.

Last night I was so angry I couldn’t sleep and my mind was full thinking of the Congress people who voted to acquit Trump, after all the evidence provided. What insidious weaklings we have representing us and the tenets our country was founded upon!

My now home state of Wyoming is among them😠 which is not a surprise, but I didn’t give up hope until last night. My fear is that this sets a stage for Trump and his followers to continue their lawlessness.

You can’t blame Superman, after all he was an alien.

  1. I’m sorry, but you have seen the last four years, and you now have a senate which has minimal changes. Did you really expect anything different? *You* might be forgiven for thinking that truth would win out, but professional politicians should have known better.
