Tuesday Story 9

I was always roaring in the evening, that is until I got my kahlua and cream coffee. That settles me right down. I was just laid back in the recliner, my dog Petey by my side, enjoying the quiet, when suddenly my wife runs in screaming and waving a winning lottery ticket. My god, I said, you scared us to death! How much did you win?

“Five beautiful bucks!” I turned to Petey and rolled my eyes. We both returned to our relaxing positions.
