How some people act doesn’t matter to me

It’s all gibberish in this hurting world

A peeping tom watch being unfurled

I don’t need to know a star’s private life

I don’t care how they spend their time

This year has shown how selfish we can be

All for ourselves and what we need

It’s time for a change, long overdue

Looking inside ourselves for what we know to be true.
