In these days of isolation
There is a compensation
Staying together as a family
Listening and learning how they be
No need to rush to some other place
Jumping here and there to race,
But tranquil bodies in this place
Sitting calm around a fireplace.

My daughter and family’s home has a gas firepit in their backyard and it is heavenly to sit around it at night.
