I remember the evening, I remember it well
The strawberry daiquiri, that’s when I fell
The strong liquor with a fruity taste
Your lips puckering, and that face
Trying to smile with squinting eyes
The sweet sour sensation you tried to disguise
I took advantage of the crinkle of lips
That’s when my heart took the trip
Though my first love years ago I recall
You still taste like that memory, and I still fall.

The hair, still familiar
Competes with the wind
Her eyes holding secrets
Concealed within
Her skin still electric
Still soft her hips
She tasted like memory
Still fresh on her lips
