There’s nothing false about music. The feelings are real and can be inspired by a Phillip Sousa march where the parade goers are shouting “hurray” for the old veterans marching or for the high school band in which their child is playing.
Music is the sound everyone loves. It could be a hip hop dancer, a head banger heavy metal lover, a ballet concerto or an operatic aria. Bluegrass, blues, jazz, all have their place. I admit I love almost all music. The most touching music I have heard in the last ten years was from a theatrical production of “Les Mis” in Denver. Those songs give me the chills and I can’t help crying when they are sung.
I enjoy some choirs, but prefer the old time hymns instead of new boring ones. I’ll lighten this up with a musical comedy movie that has a fantastic choir:
