Thanksgiving here in Wyoming will be an adventure for those who travel to be with loved ones. Today we are under a huge mountain of snow and the city of Cheyenne is basically closed! Interstates and highways are closed around us, but our family group is close by and we’re thankful always for that.
Scrapers and shovels on windows and stairs
Snowplows working tirelessly on thoroughfares
As for me, it’s hot coffee and blanketed feet
I might make cookies just for a treat
Snow days are fun unless you have to get out
But kids build snowmen and play and shout
I wish I were able
I’d make a snow angel.

My heart goes out to all of you snowed in! All we had was a terrible wind storm. I’ll take that over 12 inches of snow. Stay warm!

My friend in Colorado is under 14 inches of snow and she said her parents in the mountains got 24 inches! Enjoy your thanksgiving! And don’t freeze! 😛
