I think we stayed up too late

My toad and I can’t keep our date

Our eyes won’t focus, and the broom?

No longer does it weave and zoom

Was it a nightmare or was it real

The broom just curled up like an eel

We can’t make the Halloween bash

Broom is useless now, would crash.
