3TC – Romantic Evening

Trying to act nonchalant, Joe assembled the logs in the way of his BoyScout Days, insuring there would be a good fire burning soon. He planned it carefully with a safe boundary being the pond. He was careful to use the driest wood in the clearing and after a few attempts, the flames started to glow.

He wanted it to be a success to impress her. Wanting everything to be perfect, he carefully placed the blanket and picnic basket, all packed with nothing missing. Mary seemed pleased, at least she smiled, sitting there, watching him puttering around.

Mary didn’t say much; she had been admiring him for a while, waiting for him to make the first move. Accepting a few coffee meetings, he finally asked her on a first date, and this romantic setting was his choice. She couldn’t help smiling, watching him making everything just so. It couldn’t be better she thought.

After eating, Joe dipped into the basket and opened a bottle of dessert wine. It was sweet and soothing, the perfect end to the date. At least that’s what Mary envisioned. As he inched closer, he stole a kiss, and she responded. Then Joe jumped up and started taking off his shirt and shoes. Mary just sat there, almost speechless.

“What is going on?”

“I thought we’d go skinny dipping! It’s warm enough, don’t you think?” Joe finished undressing and jumped in the pond.

Mary was shocked. The romantic evening turned into a high school romp.
