Dyslexia Awareness Week – 7th-13th October

With this post, I would like to make aware the brilliant work of Barrington Stoke and their mission to get everybody reading. You can find their website here.

Barrington Stoke has published super-readable books accessible to young people with dyslexia or reading reluctance.

I have been lucky enough to read a few of these books (written by some top authors) and I have found them enjoyable reads.

The Starlight Watchmaker by Lauren James

The first book from Barrington Stoke I had ever read. Lauren James is one of my favourite authors and when I heard that she had published this book, I knew that I had to read it. I wasn’t disappointed. You can find the full review here.
